San Antonio - May 2010

Well, even Pearl Jam can't get me to go to Texas, but work did... I attended a conference in San Antonio, and I was really surprised! There is a river winding through the city, splitting several times, and all the buildings and street level is one story up above the banks, with an entire other city down at river level. There are shops, restaurants, waterfalls, jungles, etc down there.







Also visited the Alamo on the last day... got the self-guided tour, which was far too detailed and boring. I guess it would be interesting if you like war stories and old guns...
