Keith's gradutation, May 2011

I'm so very proud of my son, age 31, who went back to school later in life after having dropped out of college just out of high school... he just wasn't ready, but it's sooo hard to sacrifice and get through it later.

The ceremony was a clusterfuck, with so many students (they could have broken it up by school or something) and so many awards, that they didn't even let the graduates go up one by one to get their diplomas! Hours in the heat, and all the parents wanted was to get a picture of their kid being handed a diploma... So we had to make do with pictures afterwards, when we went to dinner (about 13 of us) at Buca de Beppo in SF.



I paid off the balance of Keith's motorcycle loan for his present, and put the pink slip in a cookbook my sister found in her 'white elephant' drawer, called "In The Kitchen With Rosie: Oprah's Favorite Recipes"... hence the puzzled look on Keith's face...
